The boat is prepared for departure in advance, so you do not need to bring equipment or arrange anything separately.
We inspect the systems before every trip, refuel the boat and prepare all equipment. You arrive at the quay fifteen minutes before departure, and the crew handles everything else.
From Porto Montenegro marina in Tivat, it is equally convenient to head deeper into the bay towards Perast and Kotor or out towards the Blue Cave and Mamula.
A mild climate, calm water and constantly changing scenery make the Bay of Kotor one of the Mediterranean's best places for boat trips. A captain handles the boat; you only need to choose the route and time.
Tivat Yacht Club runs crewed yacht and boat charters from Porto Montenegro marina in Tivat. The fleet includes fast motorboats, sailing yachts, motor yachts up to 20 metres and a catamaran for up to 15 guests. Every boat comes with a captain, so you do not need a licence or sailing experience: choose the boat, the duration and the route, and the crew handles the rest.
Tivat lies in the middle of the Bay of Kotor, so a charter can head deeper into the bay towards Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks or out to the Blue Cave, Mamula Island and the Luštica coast. Compare the boats in our fleet, check the prices or read how a private yacht charter works.
Four hours is enough for Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks. Six hours adds the Blue Cave, Mamula Island and Žanjice Bay. In eight hours you can explore the whole bay or reach Sveti Stefan by fast boat. See all routes from Tivat.

The Bay of Kotor has a unique geography. Four smaller bays are linked by narrow straits, while the mountains rise almost directly from the water to heights of around fifteen hundred metres. This is why it is often called Europe's southernmost fjord, although it is actually a flooded river canyon.
This shelter keeps the water calm for most of the season: when waves build in the open Adriatic, the bay usually has only a light breeze. The coves warm earlier and cool later, while the clear water lets you see the seabed several metres below.
