Sveti Stefan

Sveti Stefan lies beyond the bay on the Budva Riviera. This is the only route for which we head into the open Adriatic, so it is available only on selected boats and depends on the weather.

What It Is

A small island connected to the shore by a narrow sandy isthmus. A fortress belonging to fishing families stood here in the fifteenth century, and the entire village was converted into a hotel in the mid-twentieth century. Only guests may enter, but the best-known view is from the water.

What You See Along the Way

We follow the Luštica coast past Cape Platamuni, pass Budva with its old town and St Nicholas Island, known locally as Hawaii. We return on a different course, closer to the shore.

This route requires calm seas. If conditions beyond the strait are rough, we offer an alternative within the bay.
