Luštica Peninsula
Travel time from Tivat: from 30 minutes. Recommended package: 4 hours.
Luštica separates the Bay of Kotor from the open sea. On the bay side, gentle slopes are covered with olive terraces; the Adriatic side has sheer cliffs, caves and coves with no road access.
Why It Is Interesting
- dozens of small bays where you can anchor alone;
- caves and crevices at the base of the cliffs, offering the best snorkelling in the area;
- abandoned stone villages visible from the water;
- Austrian fortifications on the headlands.
How We Explore
We usually follow the coast and anchor wherever you like. A full circuit of the peninsula takes a day, but four hours is enough to explore the most interesting section on the bay side and swim in two coves.
The route on the open-sea side depends on the wind and is decided by the captain on the day.
